TenderBoard's Manual Bid Submission functionality can be activated to prevent suppliers from submitting bids for a particular deal. This is used if the bids for that deal need to be submitted via non-electronic means.
When the function is activated, the user inputting the information is able to indicate the submission instructions on the submission page.
Subsequently, suppliers will see two updates on the tender listing page.
Firstly, the listing page will be updated with the instructions that had been entered in earlier.
Secondly, when pressing the submit your bid button, the supplier will not be sent to the bid submission page. Instead, a pop-up will be shown with the instructions.
Note that as no bids can be submitted online, when the Manual Bid Submission functionality is activated, you will not be able to award the deal via the TenderBoard system.
